I've updated the DECnet-enabled Xserver & libX11 RPMs for Fedora Core 6. see http://linux-decnet.sourceforge.net/Xservers/ The "old" FC5 ones have been left there to so check the version numbers before you download. the FC6 ones are xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.1.1-47decnet1.i386.rpm xorg-x11-server-Xnest-1.1.1-47decnet1.i386.rpm libX11-1.0.3-4decnet1.i386.rpm They haven't been well tested yet, but are build from the same patchset as the previous ones so should be OK ;-) If you're not running FC6 but some other distro with those versions of x.org you should be able to extract necessary bits from the RPMs using rpm2cpio and drop them into place. Happy Christmas (if you're into that sort of thing), patrick |

Just to let you know that some changes made in the networking layer in the 2.6.19 kernel have broken DECnet. Using that kernel I can't talk to any machines over DECnet. With luck, the Christmas holidays will provide time to get this fixed... -- patrick |

Just a minor release with a couple of tweaks to dncopy:
* Add -E switch to dncopy to allow it to continue on output error.
* Better reporting of filename syntax errors reported by remote end.
e.g. tilde characters in local files being rejected by VMS.
I've updated the RPM a fair bit too, and split it into a normal and a 'devel' package.
It's now built on FC6 so take care if you're running anything earlier.
