Already reported the ZLIB issue to Apple (FB12992004). I'll update here if they update the issue. 7-Zip supports LZVN (type 8), but now 7-zip fails with your LZVN file example, because there is some junk data after each LZVN block (up to 256 bytes in your example). I don't know what is that junk data. We can ignore that junk data. So next version of 7-Zip will decode such LZVN streams. Nice!! Thanks again Igor. Let me know if you still need anything else.
