"Handy contract edits" Posted 2026-03-23
Pros: Corrected two lines in a vendor contract, added initials, and exported it quickly. The edit pdf tools seemed to be correct, and the signer workflow was straightforward.
Cons: Zooming in on text was okay, but a more prominent page thumbnail would be helpful.
Overall: A service contract had to be quickly edited and then signed before sending it out. That was easy to do in edit pdf. In addition, moving around the document was not confusing.

"zendocs for forms" Posted 2026-03-22
Pros: used to fill out a store hiring packet and add a signature without having to print it out. the form fields worked well, and saving the file was pretty quick too.
Cons: annotation buttons kind of hard to see, it took some clicking around to find the text tool.
Overall: took care of hiring form and a signed pdf were completed on zendocs with no problem - it worked well, but the toolbar could stick out a bit more.

"Clean merge flow" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: I combined several client PDFs and ensured the page order was just right. Uploading was fast, and the file size was small enough that it could easily be emailed.
Cons: The option for splitting the file took a minute to find. Clearer icons for the toolbar could help.
Overall: I combined invoices, rearranged two pages, and sent a completed file to a manager. The process seemed logical except for a brief time figuring out the split.

"Comments keep feedback clear" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: Adding comments in place on PDFs keeps everything organized and in view. Each comment will pin in place and allow text formatting.
Cons: No option to filter comments by user when multiple users have annotated one document. That would be helpful.
Overall: We were working together to get feedback on a policy document and it ended up being that five people were marking up one document. Everyone added comments in place and nothing overlapped. It ended up being a fraction of the work to compile everything compared to emailing back and forth with comments.

"PPTX conversion is decent" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: PDF to PPTX did a good job preserving most of the layout, text boxes, and image locations. Output file did not crash in PowerPoint, and most slides only required minor spacing changes to present to clients.
Cons: Slide transitions, especially complex ones, did not convert well. Simple layout is best, which is a drawback.
Overall: Got presentation files as PDFs and needed editable versions fast. Conversion got me about 85% there and manual fixes handled the rest. Not perfect for design-heavy slides but absolutely practical for text-focused content that needs quick edits.

"Deleting pages is instant" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: Delete PDF pages tool allows for a thumbnail view, where you can click on a page to select it for deletion. This is instantaneous, and there is no guesswork. The preview is updated in real time, and the export produces a clean document with no remnants of deleted content.
Cons: No undo available if you delete pages within the editor. A simple "restore" button before exporting the document can prevent accidental deletions from becoming permanent.
Overall: Received a 50-page report, but only twelve pages were relevant to my department. I selected everything else, clicked delete, and had a lean document ready for distribution in under a minute.

"OCR picked up everything" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: Scan to text read handwritten notes and printed text within a photographed document with remarkable clarity. The output was editable and even allowed for small print in the margins to be read clearly, with no further correction needed.
Cons: Sometimes, OCR software can struggle with cursive writing in tight spaces. A bit more recognition of connected letters would make this feature perfect.
Overall: Had old meeting notes only in phone photos of a whiteboard. Used OCR to turn them into clean, editable text that could go straight into a shared document. Saved hours of time, and nothing was lost in translation.

"Compressing images worked well" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: I had a group of product pictures to deal with, and their compress image reduced their total size by nearly 70% without any noticeable degradation in quality. Processing was quick, even with fifteen files waiting to be processed, and all were downloaded neatly organized and ready to go.
Cons: I don't think batch file compression shows file sizes before and after. Showing file sizes would help determine which files still need further reduction.
Overall: Product pictures were taking up space, slowing down our website. I ran all files through "Compress Image," and our site is loading much faster now. Easy fix to something that had been annoying us for weeks 😊

"Word to PDF was flawless" Posted 2026-03-17
Pros: Word to PDF conversion included all my tables, images, and header style types from my original document. Fonts were rendered correctly, spacing was consistent, and it looks identical to what it looks like on my screen in Word before uploading.
Cons: No option to edit PDF metadata such as author and title during conversion process. That would have saved me from having to edit it afterward.
Overall: Completed a client handbook in Word and need a locked PDF version for distribution. Conversion took mere seconds and looks identical to my source file down to the last bullet point. Shared it with confidence that nothing moved or broke in transit.

"Highlighting made review faster" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Having many highlight color choices enables me to categorize various kinds of comments visually, even in long documents. For example, one color for questions, one color for approvals, and one color for changes. The ability to add notes to each highlighted section also provided useful information without cluttering the page.
Cons: The colors available for highlighting cannot be changed, only chosen from the list of colors provided. This would be improved with the addition of the ability to use hex colors.
Overall: Working on a 45-page grant proposal with three others means each person had their own section to highlight, and the ability to share those with the others, with no problems with exporting the highlighted document. This process replaced the traditional method of printing the document and scribbling on it.

"Editing text directly in PDF" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Edit PDF allowed me to correct typos and update dates directly in my document without having to convert to a Word document first. The text formatting looked great and stayed consistent with the surrounding text, and my edits saved cleanly into a new version ready to share.
Cons: The font matching for edited text isn't always great, and some of my replacements look a bit "off" compared to the original font used around them.
Overall: I was able to catch a date error in a finalized proposal just before sending it out. I opened it in ZenDocs, made two edits to a single line, and re-exported without affecting anything else on the page. Not great for heavy edits, but great for last-minute fixes in a hurry.

"Reordering pages is smooth" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: The reorder PDF pages feature has a thumbnail view, which makes the process of rearranging the content easy. The pages were dragged into place, and the new order was previewed and exported with no quality issues.
Cons: The thumbnail view could be improved by making the thumbnails slightly larger, especially if the content on the pages appears similar. Zooming into the thumbnails would be more effective.
Overall: A pitch presentation was created with content gathered from various places, and the pages were in the wrong order after merging. The reorder pages feature allowed the content to be dragged into place visually and then exported in under two minutes.

"password protection was simple" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: password-protecting sensitive PDFs took ten seconds. uploaded my file, set credentials, and downloaded an encrypted version that asked for login credentials before opening. whole process was smooth and felt very secure indeed.
Cons: no option to set varying permissions such as view only or edit on protected documents.
Overall: had to send employee documents via email and needed an additional layer of security beyond what encryption provided. zendocs gave me ability to lock down each file individually without installing anything. very fast and exactly what i needed.

"Excel conversion was accurate" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: The PDF to Excel conversion maintained cell structure, numerical data formats, and column widths surprisingly well. The data imported into a clean spreadsheet format with almost no need for manual adjustments before processing it for calculations.
Cons: The PDF's merged cells sometimes ended up as separate columns in Excel. This is a minor issue, but worth mentioning for complex tables.
Overall: Monthly sales reports are sent to me in PDFs, and manually re-entering data was taking hours of my time every week. With ZenDocs, I've reduced my prep time to a mere five minutes flat.

"Image to PDF works great" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Uploaded twelve JPEGs and they converted into one organized PDF in seconds. Image quality remained sharp, page sizing adjusted automatically, and my finished document was professional enough to send to clients straight away.
Cons: No ability to change page margins or space between images prior to conversion. Would have been helpful.
Overall: Had to put together all my product photos into one shareable PDF document to send to a wholesale buyer. Uploaded all images, conversion happened instantly, and it looks professional without me needing to do anything. Definitely bookmarking this page for future use.

"Rotating pages saved my file" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Rotate PDF Pages fixed an entire batch of scanned documents that came in sideways. This program selected all the sideways documents at once, rotated them 90 degrees, and exported them with no quality loss. This process took maybe thirty seconds total.
Cons: Bulk rotation works well but selecting non-consecutive pages requires clicking each one individually. Shift-click multi-select would speed that up.
Overall: Received a 20-page scan from a vendor, and half the pages were in landscape and the other half in portrait. Rotated all the pages to the correct orientation, and this process took less time than writing this review. Simple program, perfect execution.

"Fill and sign is practical" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Form fields auto-detected and fill mode enable me to tab through each form field smoothly. Signing at the end of the form felt natural. Once completed, the form exported nicely as a flat PDF, looking great on all devices I've tried so far.
Cons: Auto-detection of form fields missed a couple of form fields on complex form layouts. Manually creating form fields is an okay feature, but auto-detection would save me a step significantly.
Overall: Tax paperwork came to me as a fillable PDF with all fields filled out correctly on the first try. Signed at the bottom, downloaded, and submitted in ten minutes or less. While there were a few detection issues, it handled 90% of my form work without any problems.

"Splitting textbooks made easy" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Split PDF divided a 300-page document into individual chapters according to page ranges. The output files retained the same level of quality as their source files, and processing took less time than expected, even for a high number of pages in the source document.
Cons: Custom naming for each split section before downloading would eliminate manually renaming every file after processing completes each time.
Overall: The tool was useful for obtaining exactly three specific chapters from a massive study guide without having to carry around 300 pages. Simply set my page ranges, click split, and I've got clean standalone PDFs in a minute or less. That's exactly why this tool is earning a permanent bookmark.

"Annotations are well built" Posted 2026-03-11
Pros: Highlighting, sticky notes, and text comments are all effective and work well within the editor. Having multiple colors available is also great for developing a system of organization within the document. The notes will stay exactly where they are placed, regardless of zoom level.
Cons: Annotation toolbar is placed low on the screen and gets pushed out of view by long documents. It should be able to be "pinned" higher up on the screen, or float.
Overall: Having to review a vendor proposal meant marking up dozens of pages with questions and notes. The annotation tools worked great, and highlighted sections export well when sharing everything back with my team to discuss.
