Pros: Pretty slick alternative to Twitter. It's cool that you can import all your Instagram followers/following.
Cons: It's new, so there's no automation tools or social media management tools for it yet, I don't think.
Overall: So far so good. Interested to see if this gains critical mass or if people will migrate from Twitter.
