About Riseup
The Riseup Collective is an autonomous body based in Seattle with collective members world wide. Our purpose is to aid in the creation of a free society, a world with freedom from want and freedom of expression, a world without oppression or hierarchy, where power is shared equally. We do this by providing communication and computer resources to allies engaged in struggles against capitalism and other forms of oppression. Riseup provides online communication tools for people and groups working on liberatory social change. We are a project to create democratic alternatives and practice self-determination by controlling our own secure means of communications. We provide mailing lists for activist organizations.

Pros: Simple, fast, light. I just mail. No BS, no heavy features that no one ever uses. I jut want to mail and be secure.
Cons: nothing really....People with higher demands and higher patience can go for corporate products.
Overall: if you just want a simple non spyware, corporate mail then this is it. No hassle, no bugs, no stupid features.

"Good luck joining." Posted 2022-12-24
Pros: Cool name, cool logo, excellent security, and nothing else.
Cons: Can't join, when attempting to join you have to get some sort of invite code from an existing user, if you attempt to contact the support to gain entry you'll be shot down rather harshly. I don't care about activists, at least the kind they want, my activist type is not but more or less is the same frequency as Guy Fawkes' disciples, which is why I wanted Riseup as its secure.
Overall: Don't even bother unless you're a hippie, they don't know what cyber activism is evidently, thus my confusion as to the great security.
