Cons: The things I didn't like were:

Pros: I have been using mac mail with a mac email address since 2006. My mac email address was my primary email address and I used this address for all important stuff, but I used mac mail program/app also for my other (google) email adresses. I liked it because it organised emails well and could be used with other email adresses too. Worked perfect on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. Till it didn't. Not long ago I stared my computer and literally saw my emails disappearing. I called the helpdesk of Apple right away. But they could not help. Pretty much all the emails send to and from my mac email address are lost. No back up nothing. The mails send to and from google email adresses were backed up with google and I still have those. I lost thousands of emails containing very valuable information and pictures. No one knows what happened and all is gone forever. I rather use free google email addresses in the future.

Cons: See above. Once it crashes for no apparent reason you loose all emails forever. No back-up, no recovery.

Overall: I do not recommend. It works great until it doesn't anymore and then you lose everything. And no Apple service desk person can help.

Cons: I don't like that you can't have different signatures automatically apply for replies vs new messages. Out of office must be set up through the web platform instead of the desktop version.
