AlphaServer ES40 Emulator download

A portable emulator for the HP (DEC, Compaq) AlphaServer ES40. The current version is capable of running OpenVMS with some limitations. The goal is to have a drop-in replacement for real ES40's. Emulates the Alpha AXP EV68CB processor and other devices.

Surprisingly with the few patches made since the latest snapshot (i.e., 20080503_1030) the emulator runs much better. I no longer get these sporadic (but once they occured persistent) 'access violations' when (re-)running system utilities like $analyze/disk. So (for Linux users) I recommend to download the latest source version http://es40.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/es40/?view=tar and build it as shown here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/es40/forums/forum/656085/topic/3307163?message=8664673 Best regards, scruty p.s.: it'd be great, if someone could build it for Win.
