Windows

Linux

  • Installation instructions
  • Sounds playback capability depends on installed gstreamer1.0 plugins/codecs. Install gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly to play mp3/mp4 files.
  • Any version before 4.5.1 has issues with sound playback on Ubuntu 16.04 and newer (also maybe on other modern Linuxes).
  • To use Talking clock plugin install speech-dispatcher package.
  • Application restart may be required after some settings changes.

macOS (OS X)

  • Any version before 4.5.1 has issues with setting saving on macOS Sierra.
  • Application restart may be required after some settings changes.

  • alternative (possible much better) 'stay on top' for Linux
  • show clock on all workspaces/desktops on Linux/Mac
  • autodetect fullscreen apps on Windows
  • change clock time zone

Core:

  • separated timer for plugins
  • compiled with GCC 5.4.0 on linux

GUI:

  • decreased spacing in few dialogs
  • macOS dark menu bar support (make icon white)
  • don't show menu icons on macOS
  • added tab with experimental features
  • restore clock position after screen resolution change

Plugins:

  • new alarm plugin with multiple alarms support
  • chime: quiet time feature
  • alignment support for plugins which have widgets
  • ip_addres: ability to choose what addresses will be displayed
