Running Webmin 2.105, Oracle Linux 8.9, Kerenel 4.18.0-513.11.0.1.el8_9.x86_64

I have servers which I do not use IPv6 and therefore IPv6 is disabled in the OS.

We replace FirewallD with iptables. When accessing the "Linux Firewall" (IPv4 version of the management interface) we receive the error: No iptables(6) bootup action was found, indicating that the IPtables package is not installed on your system

That error message isn't very clear - it really should just say that "no iptables bootup action was found".

If you go to Webmin -> System -> Bootup and Shutdown, do you see an action named iptables ?

      Hi,

I do not, so it appears the notification is like you say, not very clear, but would be accurate in the conditions you offered. Sorry for any inconvenience, it's a fabulous tool!

      Thanks,
      Scott...

In that case, maybe you need to install the iptables package?

We will make the error message clearer in the next release of Webmin.
