This new TigerMUD 1.7.1 Windows installer package offers automatic setup for the TigerMUD game server so you can get running quickly. Run the package, and then click the TigerMUD icon from the Start Menu or the Desktop to launch the MUD game server. Then to connect to your new server, use your favorite MUD client or just click Start, Run, and then type 'telnet localhost 8000' and away you go! Check the TigerMUD file download page. The new Windows Installer package (TigerMUD_Setup.msi) makes it super easy to run TigerMUD. You don't need to perform any database setup steps, or install additional software.
Just download and run the TigerMUD_Setup.msi file, follow the prompts, and you're done. Click on the TigerMUD icon to run the server, then connect with your choice of telnet client, simple as that! ... read more
