Soar Suite versions 9.0.1, 9.1.1, and 9.2.0 are now available. 9.0 includes reinforcement learning (Soar-RL), 9.1 includes Soar-RL and an episodic memory module (EpMem), and 9.2 includes Soar-RL, EpMem and a new semantic memory modules (SMem). See the release notes for more information.

VisualSoar has been added to CVS. We'll do an official release once it's more cleaned up. For the moment, you can build what's in there on Windows, but the Linux stuff needs to be updated.
The docs section of the site now contains some links to Soar-related sites that may be helpful. Note that this doc is in the Docs section of this site, not in the docs directory in CVS.
Please send me any new links or corrections.

In an effort to make the documentation more available to a broader range of users, the "Install Info.doc" file (an MS Office format) has been converted to PDF in all modules. It has been and continues to available in HTML as well.
The other formats (MS Office, HTML) are still available for those who prefer those formats. It is actually likely that updates to the documentation will be done in the MS Office format and then converted to the other formats.... read more
Soar-8.3.5, Soar-8.4.5, TSI-3.1.5, Eaters-3.0.5, and TankSoar-3.0.5 are available for download. The new versions are updated for Tcl8.3 and conform to a new directory structure. Also, development is now supported on SourceForge.
The original binary release files, for versions 8.3 and 8.4, that were available on the Soar project page are now available for download in our files section.
