pLsearch / News: Recent posts

pLsearch was created to assist System Administrators in their quest for grep'ing logs and other files for specific content, and then spitting it out in a format that is generally easy on the eyes.

The latest version of 0.1.9 is a minor release that makes a few cosmetic changes.

Changes:
+ pLsearch no longer require Getopt::Long.
+ Added a fix to avoid opening/parsing binary files.

Quite a few updates which add necessary functionality and usability for systems not fully capable of using pLsearch properly.

Few cosmetic updates, nothing major.

Nothing major... just a few fixes.

Latest release fixes major coding flaw which caused excessive overhead and memory usage.
