In yesterday, June 21, 2006, nxRTS was approved as open source project on sourceforge.net.

The basic development just begun several days ago. The results are made public via the project's CVS tree (web view: http://nxrts.cvs.sourceforge.net/nxrts/\). The Template Engine and the Database Layer works great now, a big part has been taken from phpBB classes. nxRTS has even got the first design, actually named 'net-xtreme', dedicated to the server name the development begun.
I think with current speed of development there will be the first pre-alpha v0.1 in one or two weeks.
