MP3val 0.1.7 released. It features a few bugfixes as well as improvements. See changelogs.

MP3val-frontend (native MP3val GUI for Windows) 0.1.1 is released. The GUI is still BETA. This release features significant interface improvements (e.g., toolbar was added).

MP3val 0.1.6 can now check and fix CRCs in frame headers. There are other minor improvements, see changelog.

MP3val-frontend 0.1.0 is a first public release of the native Windows GUI for mp3val. Note that this frontend requires mp3val binaries to work.

At last (after a long delay) MP3val 0.1.5 is released. It features some minor changes:

[+] A new warning message for files with a "couple" of MPEG frames
[+] A new warning message for VBR files without VBR header
[*] An old CVS patch fixing a error that prevented mp3val from being compiled on AMD64.

This is a bugfix release, the previous one was reported not to work under Linux.

A few minor bugfixes, as well as improvements.

Version 0.1.2 released. The program has been ported to Unix, minor bug with file repairing was fixed.

MP3val 0.1.1 released. Only Windows version is present, though we're planning to support Unix systems as well in the future.
