Soundbench is high-quality GPL-licensed software synthesizer written in C++/Qt that is meant to work across all major platforms (though especially most common Linux distributions). Soundbench follows a development philosophy that emphasizes getting everything stable before adding new features. Soundbench is meant to be usable by anyone who wishes to produce music, whether they are hobbyists, professional musicians, or experienced sound designers. The program is currently in Beta, meaning that it is ready for some simple music production, however is not yet completely stable or complete.

Implement a HRTF for binaural spatialization of mono sound sources with respect to head movements and provide a GUI for dynamic drag and drop of sound sources in 2D. Additionally, integrate with a magnetometer to accept real time head position.

Speect is a multilingual TTS system. It offers a full text-to-speech system with various API's, as well as an environment for research and development of TTS systems and voices. It is written in ANSI C and uses a plug-in mechanism for extensions. Speect also includes an extensive set of Python bindings for quick implementation of new ideas, these bindings are derived from SWIG interface files and can easily be extended for other languages supported by SWIG. Speect is free and open source software. As a collection it is distributed under a MIT license.

His theory proposes that the structure of time is a complex wave with a scalar potential, and the King Wen sequence of the I Ching is the 64 hexagram code from which the waveform of time is derived; that the King Wen sequence maps the linear progression of the human states of mind, which ultimately substantiates this waveform. This theory is the basis for the well-known novelty computer program he and others had developed. This program synth was made in supercollider.

Triceratops is an analogue style polyphonic subtractive synthesizer plugin, for use with the LV2 plug architecture, at this time there is no standalone version. An up to date version of the LV2 library is required along with a suitable host (e.g. Qtractor, Jalv, Ardour), I highly recommend either the KXstudio distro or the KXstudio ubuntu repositories! The intention is for this synth to be part of a suite including a drum machine (Stegosaurus) and a wavetable synth (Dracorex), watch this space.
