This is a package for Structural Equation Modeling in development. It is written for extensibility, that is, you can easily define your own objective functions and other parts of the model. At the same time, it is (very) fast. We provide fast objective functions, gradients, and for some cases hessians as well as approximations thereof. As a user, you can easily define custom loss functions. For those, you can decide to provide analytical gradients or use finite difference approximation / automatic differentiation. You can choose to mix loss functions natively found in this package and those you provide. In such cases, you optimize over a sum of different objectives (e.g. ML + Ridge). This strategy also applies to gradients, where you may supply analytic gradients or opt for automatic differentiation or mixed analytical and automatic differentiation. You may consider using this package if you need extensibility and/or speed, and if you want to extend SEM.

This script helps organizations to make polls of different types of positions with a number of candidates under each position. The script is not very stable and the code is still rough. Installation: i. Download the script and unzip it to your localhost or web server. Works best with Wamp server. ii. Import polling3.sql from the dbBackups folder in the admin folder. Use phpMyAdmin in this case or together with cPanel for online server. iii. Add login.html into the Apache configuration file to enable direct redirection to the system. This is a web app that works offline, pretty much like any other program, just save the *.htm file and open in any HTML5 browser like chrome or firefox. Possible plans to add: -some support for *.ged files. -zoom should also be possible -images/sound clips, maybe? -adding lines, so branches can cross

This converter bridges from the .ahn file format into GEDCOM 5.5.1, It's a command-line tool written in Java. AhnConvert allows family data, laboriously grabbed decades ago surviving into state-of-the art genealogy software products. The software "Familien Chronik" by Reiner W. Dudde was a genealogy software published by Data Becker as part of the "Goldene Serie" series, back in the 1990's. Especially in Germany this tool penetrated the market to some extent. Generating a project and filling in all relatives and ancestors resulted in an .ahn file. Unfortunatelly, this format cannot be imported by any of the current genealogy software. On the other side, GEDCOM can be read without problems by most of today's programs.
