I.S.A.A.C.S. Interactive Structure Analysis of Amorphous and Crystalline Systems is a cross-platform software developed to analyze the structural characteristics of three-dimensional models built by computer simulations.

QME-DEV Workbench (wxScipy) is a data analysis workbench based on Python, SciPy, Numpy and MatPlotLib(PyLab) and uses wxPython for the GUI. It can be used for non-linear analysis with a large set of experimental or generated data. Load/Acquire / Save/ Gr

The library provides an implementation of dimensioned values for Ada. Unit checks are made at run-time, if not optimized out by the compiler. SI and irregular measurement units are supported. Shifted units like degrees Celsius are supported too. Conversions from and back to strings are provided for all various irregular units. An extensive set of GTK widgets for dealing with dimensioned values is included, though use of GTK is not mandatory for the rest of the library.

htcontrol is a software to control high-temperature single crystal XRD experiments on a STOE IPDS II or 2T diffractometer platform. A Manson SDP2210 power unit is needed as well as the ICP DAS I7019 data acquisition interface (amount of investment approx. 600 EUR). htcontrol is written in Perl and runs on a cygwin platform to be installed on the WinXP/10 host. Wavefront is a programme for simulating 2D acoustic systems, with a particular emphasis on determining wavefront shapes at the mouths of horns. It accepts CAD drawings in DXF format and produces animated displays of wave propagation as well as exporting various data as text files. It is GPL software and runns on Linux and Windows.

Geophysical Library is a C++-library to handle geophysical data. At the moment the focus is on magnetotelluric and seismic data. It also includes a genetic algorithm for data inversion, signal processing and statistics routines.

JDFTx is a plane-wave density functional theory code designed for electronic structure theory development. One prominent unique capability is the treatment of solvated electronic systems using joint density functional theory. MBDyn_sim_suite is a collection of free pre&post-processing tools and simulation models for the open-source multi-body analysis software MBDyn forming a general purpose simulation environment for structural dynamics with an emphasis on wind turbines.

NanoHive is a modular simulator used for modelling the physical world at a nanometer scale. The intended purpose of the simulator is to act as a tool for the study and development of nanotech entities. The project will also focus on the simulation of complex biological applications such as Targeted Drug Delivery by simulating nanowires, magnetic nanoparticles and others. Updates will follow from January 2017.

OFELI (Object Finite Element LIbrary) is a library of finite element C++ classes for multipurpose development of finite element software. It is intended for teaching, research and industrial developments as well.

A handle graphics package for Octave, the Free alternative to matlab. OctPlot provides quality postscript(TM) and screen graphics.

PhenoSim3D is an application that presents computer simulations of real physical experiments, which could be used for demonstrating laws and effects in the field of Physics. Unlike real experiments, the simulations with PhenoSim3D could be done in a time convenient for the user; in addition, the greater data precision makes the phenomena analysis understandable, and due to the lack of external factors PhenoSim3D allows for repetition of the experiments without changes in the results. The application is suitable for use in class, during self-preparation and is accessible to students with special educational needs.

RMG is a density functional theory (DFT) based electronic structure code that uses real space grids to represent wavefunctions, charge densities and ionic potentials. Spasmos is a Python package that allows scientists to simulate the dynamics of highly collisional plasmas using a number of numerical methods.

DEXA is dedicated to providing post-experiment signal processing of DiffXAS signals. By combining ab initio theory with measured spectra, structural strain parameters may be extracted from the differential signals at an intrinsic, atomic scale.

YAFEMS (Yet Another Finite Element Method Solver) is a FEM solver for Linux and WIndows that reads a MED mesh file produced by Salome (http://www.salome-platform.org/) with certain groups created into the mesh, and with the help of an input text file (.yaf), performs a 3D or 2D plane stress or plane strain analysis and creates results in plain text format and in MED format. This way a complete analysis can be carried inside Salome, where a mesh file can be created, exported and read by YAFEMS with the help of a .yaf input file and post-processed within Salome using ParaView. New in v0.4 - More performance boost due to the implementation of the Cuthill-McKee algorithm.
