33 starts out to gather topographic information to compare different locations on key measures like Height Above Sea Level, Geographical Latitude, Aspect (ST_Aspect), Slope (ST_Slope), Terrain Ruggedness Index (TRI, ST_TRI/ST_Roughness), Topographic Position Index (TPI, ST_TPI), or Hill Shade (ST_HillShade). Ultimately intended to make a comparing decision on suitability for agriculture. We will see how far we get or if we surpass it even, e.g with weather data and more. Why 33 as the name? Even though the answers we could get from the project might be very important, they won't be "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything", so not quite 42. But why exactly 33? Well, the founder had a project given up project of self-sustainability at house number 33. User data exported from later model Garmin GPSmap marine GPS sets consists of ADM files written to a VFAT-formatted SD card. This data includes user-generated waypoints and routes, and recorded GPS tracks. adm2gpx converts this data to industry-standard GPX records that may be imported into third-party mapping and GPS software.

AICtools is a GIS workflow and set of tools to facilitate Automated Imagery Classification (AIC) and analysis of surface features over time. Allows bulk processing of large data sets, including automated metadata processing/filtering, compressed archive extraction and file manipulation, raster band compositing, pre-processing, mosaicking, clipping. Automates a subset of operations involved in classification of satellite imagery and the associated raster calculations used for time trend analysis.

AIS Logger is a simple viewer and logger for data received by AIS-transponders or -receivers.

Uses camera and motion data to map out the local world as you move around. Uses wifi and GPS data to determine your global location, with a low degree of accuracy. Combines the high accuracy of AR with the scale of GPS data. The potential for combining these technologies is huge, with so many potential applications across many different areas.

A Java servlet & JSP web mapping frontend for ESRI ArcIMS maps. This project is an alternative to the standard ArcIMS HTML viewer, featuring a cleaner interface, better measuring, and pdf export capabilities.

AirMapView is a view abstraction that enables interactive maps for devices with and without Google Play Services. It is built to support multiple native map providers including Google Maps V2 and soon Amazon Maps V2. If a device does not have any supported native map provider, AirMapView will fallback to a web-based map provider (currently Google Maps). Easy to integrate, it is a drop-in replacement for the Google Maps V2 package. AirMapView's original author is Nick Adams. With AirMapView, to support native Google maps using the Google Maps v2 SDK you will still need to set up the Google Maps SDK as described here. Follow all the instructions except the one about adding a map since AirMapView takes care of that for you. See the sample app for more information about how to set up the maps SDK.

ArgooMap is an online, map-based discussion forum, which allows participants to reference their contributions to geographic locations.
