GeigerLog is a combination of data logger, presenter, and analyzer, and is now released in version 2.1! Based on Python (Version 3), it runs on Linux, Windows, Macs, Raspberry Pi, and other. GeigerLog is WiFi-enabled for servers and clients; it can be monitored by SmartPhone. Initially developed for Geiger counters, it is now a more universal tool, which equally well handles data like temperature, air-pressure, humidity, CO2. Continues to support Geiger counters like GQ Electronic's GMC-300/500/600 , RadMon, RadPro, Gamma-Scout, audio-click and other low-cost Geiger counters, IoT devices, I2C based sensors, GQ EMF devices. GeigerLog reads data from devices, saves them to databases, prints to screen and plots as auto-updated, customizable graphs. Quality control using Statistics, Scatter, Poisson, FFT & Autocorrelation, and more. Gamma Spectra - can be displayed, calibrated, and evaluated in GeigerLog! The Raspberry Pi 4, 5 qualify as GeigerLog hosts.

The Linux GPIB Package is a support package for GPIB (IEEE 488.2) hardware. The package contains a development environment consisting of a GPIB library written in C, kernel driver modules, and bindings for several other languages.

Developer mailing lists will still be kept at Sourceforge. ---- OWFS -- 1-Wire file system. Use the Dallas 1-Wire and iButton chips with standard filesystem commands. Create temperature loggers. Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Ws2300 manipulates the LaCrosse WS-2300 weather station via its RS232/USB interface. It can read and write values, and can continuously log data from WS-2300 to a file or SQL database. All available documentation can be read online at http://ws2300.sourceforge.net/

Note: The project has moved to https://github.com/pyhys/minimalmodbus The files available here are very old, download from Github instead. MinimalModbus is an easy-to-use Python module for talking to instruments (slaves) from a computer (master) using the Modbus protocol, and is intended to be running on the master. Example code includes drivers for Eurotherm and Omega process controllers. The only dependence is the pySerial module (also pure Python). This software supports the ‘Modbus RTU’ and ‘Modbus ASCII’ serial communication versions of the protocol, and is intended for use on Linux, OS X and Windows platforms. It is open source, and has the Apache License, Version 2.0.
