IDTE is a full-featured tag editor for Windows that supports tagging of FLAC, APE, ID3v1.x/2.x, WMA, Lyrics, and Vorbis metadata in audio files. It also includes a powerful audio player with support for 40+ lossy and lossless formats, including FLAC, ALAC, OGG, APE, MP3, and more. The program MinDia can be used to create, modify and run multimedia slide shows with a diaprojector Rolleivision 35 Twin digital P (with RS232 interface).

Orchid Studio is a beautiful full multimedia operating system that can edit sound, video, and photographs on a 10 year old laptop with just 4GB of memory. Although designed for 10 year old and newer 64-bit computers that are unable to upgrade to windows 11, it excels on newer systems. It works great on multi-monitor and ultra wide screen monitor setups. Orchid Studio can be run live from a USB drive, however is intended to be installed on a solid state drive or hard drive. Orchid Studio is designed as a single user setup where the “admin” user does not require passwords for updates, installing software, and performing most administrative tasks. Other users will require passwords to be used for these functions. Passwords: root and admin initial passwords are “admin”, if you are security conscious you should change them.

At the moment, the world lacks a good open-source sheet music and notation editor. Brockmaestro is a project to create one of these. It is currently written for UNIX-like platforms.

Paint Shop Pro script to slice and resize DVD covers to perfectly fit all spine-widths of slipcases. Currently supports PSP8, PSP9. Will add support for upcoming GIMP 2.4 (requires Python). GIMP will allow for easier use and more features (CD's, etc).
