Tux Paint is a free, award-winning drawing program originally created for children ages 3 to 12, but enjoyed by all! It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program. You're presented with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help them be creative. Along with paintbrush, shapes and text, Tux Paint includes a "stamp" feature to add pre-drawn or photographic imagery to pictures, and a set of "magic tools" that provide filter effects (like blur, tint and waves) and interesting drawing tools (like train tracks, bubbles and grass). Tux Paint includes a collection of "starter" images, both coloring-book style and photo-realistic, and a large collections of stamps are available as a separate download. Additional content can be added by parents & teachers, or downloaded from 3rd parties. Tux Paint is available for Windows, macOS, Android, Linux, & Haiku operating systems, among others.

LaTeXDraw is a graphical drawing editor for LaTeX. LaTeXDraw can be used to 1) generate PSTricks code; 2) directly create PDF or PS pictures.

AutoREALM is a free role-playing game mapping program originally made by Andrew Gryc. This program is an excellent mapping program that can design castles, caves, cities, dungeons and more. New developers are more than welcome! Previously, development were using Delphi language. Some attempts to rewrite it in other languages were done, but currently (since January 2012) there is an attempt or rewrite using those technologies: _ C++11 _ wxWidgets 2.9 (will be 3.0 when it will be released) _ openGL _ pluma framework (a fixed version located on bitbucket) The design of the actual C++ code-base primarily targets clean source code and high modularity of source code, to allow easy reuse of the code and fast learning for people who might join the effort. Current development is located on https://bitbucket.org/bmorel/autorealm . Howerver, older repositories are still here in case someone would like to consult them, and to allow easy access to algorithms they might contain.

It lowers the barriers for novice CAD users to learn about CAD and sketch their very own design from scratch, and ensures everyone can try CAD. If applicable, it could also be used as a professional software with features such as collaboration (up to 2 persons, more will be added later on), SVG exporting, ready to be printed and shared with your co-workers. CompassCAD has a very small project size bundled in a single file, so your file is ready for distribution without breaking any of your favorite messaging app's file limit.
