Ganglia is a scalable distributed monitoring system for high-performance computing systems such as clusters and Grids. It is based on a hierarchical design targeted at federations of clusters. Supports clusters up to 2000 nodes in size.

Son of Grid Engine is a community continuation of the old Sun Grid Engine project. It aims to be a big superset of available free gridengine code and patches. metahelper is a utility which makes creating and maintaining upgradeable, removable, and verifiable configuration "metapackages" easy. A metapackage works with files owned by other packages to customize and configure them specifically for your environmen
