    Keycastr

    Keycastr

    KeyCastr, an open-source keystroke visualizer

KeyCastr requires access to the macOS Accessibility API in order to receive your key events and broadcast the keystrokes you are interested in. On newer versions of macOS (10.15+) there is a new Input Monitoring menu under Security & Privacy within the System Preferences app, and KeyCastr will appear there automatically the first time you run it. Simply unlock this menu and check the box next to KeyCastr to enable it. On older versions of macOS, or if for some reason the app doesn't appear under the Input Monitoring menu (or if you want to pre-enable it) then you may manually add it to the list of apps in the Accessibility menu. If KeyCastr is already in the list, then click the, button and add KeyCastr again to be certain that the right application is chosen. Make sure to check the "Display all keystrokes" checkbox if you would like to display more than just the modifier keys.

    wavesurfer.js

    wavesurfer.js

Navigable waveform built on Web Audio and Canvas

wavesurfer.js is a customizable audio waveform visualization, built on top of Web Audio API and HTML5 Canvas. With wavesurfer.js you can create anything from an HTML5 audio player to a sophisticated DJ application. wavesurfer.js works only in modern browsers supporting Web Audio. It will fallback to Audio Element without graphics in other browsers (IE 11 and lower). You can also try wavesurfer.swf which is a Flash-based fallback. The audio will start playing as you press play. A thin line will be displayed until the whole audio file is downloaded and decoded to draw the waveform. Web Audio needs the whole file to decode it in the browser. You can however load pre-decoded waveform data to draw the waveform immediately. wavesurfer.js runs on modern browsers supporting Web Audio, including Firefox, Chrome, Safari (desktop and mobile) and Opera.

    seaborn

    seaborn

    Statistical data visualization in Python

Seaborn is a Python data visualization library based on matplotlib. It provides a high-level interface for drawing attractive and informative statistical graphics. Seaborn helps you explore and understand your data. Its plotting functions operate on dataframes and arrays containing whole datasets and internally perform the necessary semantic mapping and statistical aggregation to produce informative plots. Its dataset-oriented, declarative API lets you focus on what the different elements of your plots mean, rather than on the details of how to draw them. Behind the scenes, seaborn uses matplotlib to draw its plots. For interactive work, it’s recommended to use a Jupyter/IPython interface in matplotlib mode, or else you’ll have to call matplotlib.pyplot.show() when you want to see the plot.

    PowerSimulations.jl

    PowerSimulations.jl

Julia for optimization simulation and modeling of PowerSystems

PowerSimulations.jl is a Julia package for power system modeling and simulation of Power Systems operations. Provide a flexible modeling framework that can accommodate problems of different complexity and at different time scales. Streamline the construction of large-scale optimization problems to avoid repetition of work when adding/modifying model details. Exploit Julia's capabilities to improve computational performance of large-scale power system quasi-static simulations. The flexible modeling framework is enabled through a modular set of capabilities that enable scalable power system analysis and exploration of new analysis methods. The modularity of PowerSimulations results from the structure of the simulations enabled by the package. Simulations define a set of problems that can be solved using numerical techniques.

    SMILI

    SMILI

    Scientific Visualisation Made Easy

The Simple Medical Imaging Library Interface (SMILI), pronounced 'smilie', is an open-source, light-weight and easy-to-use medical imaging viewer and library for all major operating systems. The main sMILX application features for viewing n-D images, vector images, DICOMs, anonymizing, shape analysis and models/surfaces with easy drag and drop functions. It also features a number of standard processing algorithms for smoothing, thresholding, masking etc. images and models, both with graphical user interfaces and/or via the command-line. See our YouTube channel for tutorial videos via the homepage. The applications are all built out of a uniform user-interface framework that provides a very high level (Qt) interface to powerful image processing and scientific visualisation algorithms from the Insight Toolkit (ITK) and Visualisation Toolkit (VTK). The framework allows one to build stand-alone medical imaging applications quickly and easily.
