    The PyPlot module for Julia

    The PyPlot module for Julia

Plotting for Julia based on matplotlib.pyplot

This module provides a Julia interface to the Matplotlib plotting library from Python, and specifically to the matplotlib.pyplot module. PyPlot uses the Julia PyCall package to call Matplotlib directly from Julia with little or no overhead (arrays are passed without making a copy). (See also PythonPlot.jl for a version of PyPlot.jl using the alternative PythonCall.jl package.) This package takes advantage of Julia's multimedia I/O API to display plots in any Julia graphical backend,...

    Modular Single-set Enrichment Test

A randomization testing script for genetic enrichment analysis

The Modular Single-set Enrichment Test (MSET) is a randomization testing script written in R that allows the user to statistically assess overrepresentation of any gene list of interest within a list of significant gene results from an expression study. MSET uses a tcltk graphical user interface and is optimized for use in Windows operating systems. It also works in OS X, but requires the installation of the XQuartz architecture (https://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki) to enable tcltk. This added complexity can lead to technical difficulties. UPDATE: An MSET script ("mset_text.R") is now included in the MSET folder which allows users to manually designate input files via a text prompt. This bypasses the need for tcl/tk on OS X, although it is not as fast or easy to use. ...

    spiderinabox

Ready to use VM for secure browsing on OSX using OpenBSD

Spiderinabox is a ready to use minimal OpenBSD virtual machine loaded with Firefox with scripts and programs to use it to securely browse the internet through OSX without the hassle of installing a VM or figuring out how to do X forwarding through SSH. This simplifies things to an extend that you just download spiderinabox, extract it, install VirtualBox and XQuartz and just run RUNME and everything starts automatically. In a minute you are presented with Firefox running encapsulated in the prepared OpenBSD VM through XQuartz. You can browse the internet without worrying that any malware has any access to the files on the host system. This is ideal if you want to perform tasks which you want to not break your system or otherwise you don't want any of the apps on your system to have access to what your doing...
