Interestcast is a unified approach to routing for MANETs that can be used to route to single (unicast) and multi-instantiated (anycast, multicast, geocast) destinations using a single routing protocol. The code for this project was implemented for ns-2.35 and was tested on Ubuntu 10.04, 11.04 and Debian 6.

The earlier version of this NS-2 add-on (for OFDM PHY) was developed at NIST. At the WiMAX Forum Plenary Meeting at Hawaii (January 30 - February 2, 2007), the decision to merge the independent development efforts supported by Application Architecture Task Group (AATG), WiMAX Forum and NIST was taken.
