    JOS

    JOS

JOS is an N-body simulation system written in Java

Java Objects Simulation (JOS) is an N-body simulation system written in Java. The idea was to have a simulation system which can use different interaction laws to calculate the force emerging between the objects. Current version implements only Newton's law. For GUI it uses Swing and Java 2D Graphics. GPU version (master branch) does not use Z coordinate of the objects.

    PySR

    PySR

High-Performance Symbolic Regression in Python and Julia

...Symbolic regression works best on low-dimensional datasets, but one can also extend these approaches to higher-dimensional spaces by using "Symbolic Distillation" of Neural Networks, as explained in 2006.11287, where we apply it to N-body problems. Here, one essentially uses symbolic regression to convert a neural net to an analytic equation. Thus, these tools simultaneously present an explicit and powerful way to interpret deep neural networks.

    Orbital Flight

Space travel simulator under the influence of gravity

This game is written under python (with pygame and numpy) and is based on a n-body simulation. Pilot your spaceship and see if you can land on the moon or meet a satellite on low orbit! You can simulate tens of planets, asteroids, and check basic orbital mechanics. There are configuration files to simulate the full solar system, including the biggest satellites, and it is easy to create more. In short, you can use this software to pilot a spaceship and see all the challenges of a mission to moon or mars, or simulate n-body systems up to 100 bodies and see how they evolve in time.

    rpg1 (perl)

Very Beta ASCII Text RPG (in perl)

...Its graphix are provided by the perl ANSI::Color module and ASCII text. It looks best in gnome-term or the console. Highlights include: weapons, food depletion, armor, and magic. To play the game you move N S E W UP or DOWN from room to room (NOTE: it uses a top-down view orientation, ie: you're 'floating' above the room looking down). It currently only has a limited number of rooms and I would appriciate help in adding more (there is a rudimentry how to on making rooms for rpg1 in the RPG1 Forum). Some new additions to RPG1 include body parts being damaged and ripped off/appart, sound effects, new weapons, and some more food types.
