the aim here is to provide a way for some one without the access or means to purchase high end dcc tools the same opportunity to create assets for the cryengine 3 sdk. If you use gimp and blender this will be the spot for you to get what you need. while not trying to reinvent the wheel there will be a frontend to the rc.exe that allows you to compile your images and models. It is a very real possibility that blender will have to be rebuilt(the collada export needs tweeking) to make the export of models possible. ...
