A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness. Cozette is a 6x13px (bounding box; average 5px character width, 3px descent, 10px ascent, 8px cap height) bitmap font based on Dina, which itself is based on Proggy. It's also heavily inspired by Creep. I absolutely adore Creep, and was using it up until I got a higher-DPI screen for which it was slightly too small. -

Patrick Wildt (patrick@) recently imported ssdfb(4), a driver for small OLED displays in OpenBSD and needed a 5x8 font to be able to squeeze more columns and rows on those devices. The command-line utility dvisvgm is a tool for TEX/LATEX users. It converts DVI, EPS, and PDF files to the XML-based vector graphics format SVG. In contrast to bitmap graphics, vector graphics are arbitrarily scalable without loss of quality. All modern web browsers support a large amount of the current SVG standard 1.1. A 3270 font in a modern format
This font is derived from the x3270 font, which, in turn, was translated from the one in Georgia Tech's 3270tool, which was itself hand-copied from a 3270 series terminal. I built it because I felt terminals deserve to be pretty. The .sfd font file contains a x3270 bitmap font that was used for guidance. The "source" file is edited using FontForge. -
