7zip is a well established utility but in 2025 echoing the actual password into the terminal doesn't look mature. This should be taken more seriously.

This ( https://www.techspot.com/review/1683-linux-vs-windows-threadripper-vs-core-i9/ ) is a face off benchmark between 2 recently released CPUs which includes a couple of benchmarks with VeraCrypt. While most of resource and CPU intensive tasks are performed more efficiently by Linux one VeraCrypt benchmark stands out as to perform better in Windows environment and very noticeably so. This makes me wonder if the internal architecture was designed with mostly Windows in mind.
That would be super helpful but may not be possible. Postgresql only allows one database per connection. When you onen an alias it opens a connection against a specific database.
3 years later and we still want to be able to configure columns in otherwise awesome...
