That's what I thought, but the initial window width seems to be much too small - or the default zoom is.

macOS also auto-cleans its /tmp directory, Windows sometimes cleans its %TEMP% (not sure about the process though).

I understand the reasoning, but it would make sense to - at least - delete that temporary file on exiting, like Vim and Emacs do with their recovery files, if the user decided to not save his typed text.
