I noticed that if I use the 7zip GUI to create a zip file I get one SHA256 value, but if then send the same file into a zip archive file using the 7zip command line, I get a different checksum value. Is this intended behavior? It seems to be the same regardless of archive file type. .tar, .gzip, etc. Why wouldn't the checksum be the same from GUI or command line if the one source file is the same file?
