OK, yet another revelation: bpm locking is not an issue when using the VST version of Helm in Qtractor. In Ardour, both the VST and the LV2 version work as expected. Cheers -- Torsten

Hi, I withdraw my suggestion to close this bug. As opposed to my initial impression, Helm's bpm setting does properly get adjusted to Aurdour's tempo setting on playback. In Qtractor, however, Helm's bpm slider stays at 120, no matter which tempo I set in Qtractor. Please find attached a sample project which demonstrates this behavior (at leas on my machine). The tempo is set to 96 bpm (4/4 measure), and Helm's filter frequency is supposed to be modulated by LFO 2 at a rate of 1/4 note per cycle....

Hi, seems this is a Helm issue rather than a Qtractor problem -- Helm bpm stays locked to 120 in Ardour, too! Hence I suggest to close this issue. Cheers -- Torsten

I don't really know where you got your Helm.lv2 program from and when... Updated from the KXStudio repo (https://kx.studio/Repositories) just before submitting this report. Unfortunately I'm having trouble in building Helm LV2 as of new, so please ask tytel (its author) how can he help you instead. I will, in case this issue is going to really annoy me one day. Hi, I can see that Helm's BPM setting is always locked to host's current tempo (BPM). this seem to contradict my observations. The steps that I described in my initial post demonstrate that Helm is NOT locked to the host's current tempo -- rather, it's locked to 120 bpm, no matter which host tempo is set. I didn't find a way to let the Helm LV2 plugin NOT to sync to host tempo I could understand if Helm synced its BPM setting to the host (although I'd prefer it didn't), but this is a different issue....
