The "Character Set Builder" lets one define the characters that should be included in generated passwords. This suggestion is to add a way to exclude certain characters. I sent email about this on July 10, 2020 and received a reply, but I should have posted here so that others could see that the issue has been reported and acknowledged. I've also found other placeholders with issues. In Password Tech 3.1.0, using the character set placeholder <sym> results in each of those characters being used literally (i.e. "<", "s", "y", "m", and ">"), rather than the placeholder being interpreted as intended.</sym> The full placeholder, <symbols>, does work properly.</symbols>...

I normally use "Basic" display mode. It would be nice to have both, but if I could only have one, I would prefer the first (hint displayed when hovering the cursor). Thank you for the reply!

This is a suggestion, not a request. Please consider making it possible to add a label to IP address ping targets in the list. I have several IP addressees I ping, and sometimes it's hard to remember what any given IP address represents. So, the label would typically be the associated host name, but possibly some short note to explain the reason for pinging that IP address. Thank you for reading.
