Some apps have problems pasting back into the correct location or edit control. When this happens it's best to either press ctrl-c to place the clip onto the clipboard and then make sure the app you are pasting into has the cursor at the correct location and then manually press ctrl-v, or If the paste doesn't work by pressing enter on the clip the data is still on the clipboard and can manually be pasted with ctrl-v.
This is only used when sending clips to friends over the local network, It uses Rijndael block cipher to encrypt/decrypt the data, https://github.com/sabrogden/Ditto/blob/master/EncryptDecrypt/rijndael.cpp
Use control - 1, control-2. This can be configured in Options - Quick Paste Keyboard - Paste Position 1, Paste Position 2
In the clip properties (alt - enter or right click properties) you can assign a shortcut key to paste the clip.
You can select a clip in Ditto and press the shortcut key to copy into "Copy Buffer 1". This will place the selected clip into copy buffer 1. Currently there isn't a way to see what clip is in each buffer. Would make sense to show that. Maybe in the future. scott
