Hi Trey. The error is likely due to the fact that that folder is write protected by the Mac OS. I would suggest move Scene Parser to a place that you can read and write. Unfortunately, I am not very fluent with the Mac to know where that would be (I'm using Windows 7 and soon will be using Linux Mint as my main OS).
Hi Elmills, Sorry for such a delayed reply. I actually haven't been monitoring these discussion sections on SourceForge. Instead, most of my time has been on the Music Group forums (where I'm a moderator). Regarding your question about the channel linking using the Channel Arranger, unfortunately the channel linking is not part of the channel sections of the scene file OSC command lines. Instead it is in the config section and is actually one line (/config/chlink). It is not impossible to add this...
Hey Glenn, I just updated Scene Parser with this bug-fix as well as some others I found. See the Revisions.txt for details.
You are most welcome Glenn and many thanks for these great feature requests. Some of them (like the warning that P16 outputs don't move, clearer definition of "Include Ch Inputs". can be easily rectified). Others, such as headamp linking will take some additional coding, etc. Paul
Correction, X-Air Scene Parser does not have these tools (Mute Groups, DCA).
Hi Glenn, I had a few moments (watching the news before going to bed) and had a look at this bug. You are correct that it is a bug and my suggestion did not solve it. It ended up being a simple fact that I forgot to initialize an array (MuteOutA) each time the Mute Group button is pushed. It also is the same bug with the DCA button (DCAOutA array). Two lines of code have fixed both problems. When I get a moment, I'll compile Scene Parser for all OS platforms (PC, Mac, linux, Raspberry Pi) and both...
Hi Glenn, Glad to hear that you are finding Scene Parser helpful and thanks for reporting the mute group bug. I will definitely have a look when I get a chance. Unfortunately, I'm very busy with live events until the end of the month. Regarding clearing the mutegroup screen, there is a way to clear it. Go to the Results editor and clear it. Then go back to the Parsing screen and hit the Mute Group button. I will definitely change how that works when I fix the bug(s) so that it provides expected updates....
Hi Byron, I assume by your last post that you found the user manual. If not, it is...
