F11 not usable by VDR
Thanks. Perhaps I'll try it, if ssh uses too much CPU.
Hi, Finally, I bridge tap-devices. It seems to work well: ssh -o Tunnel=ethernet -w 0:0 server Kind regards, Peter
Packet content seems to be ok. Here are 2 pcapng files: http://pmrb.free.fr/tmp/.wireshark/ Perhaps a timing issue? I will try bridging with tap-devices now... Kind regards, Peter
Thanks! Perhaps I'll need this later. But for this test case the source address is always the same 127.0.0.1 and the mac is 0 because loopback-device. Yes, in the end it will be for a Samsung TV, but I don't have it here. In some weeks, I'll take it at home for testing. Perhaps the Samsung TV will behave better than the VLC. I've tested tcprewrite in the pipe, and it seems to work very well: wireshark shows it. I'll report back, when I've tested with the Samsung. Peter
Hello, I would like to use a remote MiniDLNA server. I test with VLC and it seems, that VLC can detect a local server just after getting NOTIFY telegrams on 239.255.255.250. But when the server is elsewhere and I replay the telegrams on the local host with tcpreplay, then I can see the same NOTIFY telegrams with wireshark, but VLC does not detect anything. Could anyone help me please? Here some details about my test: local host: nc -lkU /tmp/test-socket | tcpreplay -ilo - and ssh -L 8200:localhost:8200...
Could you please apply this patch: http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=7781#31...
