unfortunately, at the moment I can not know exactly whats the exact problem or to give you a good working solution. but I give you a tip: * make sure the paths are correct and located at the 64bits version of Program files (Program Files (64bit) I'm working to release the next version and I hope these issues will not appear in the next version. best regards, Mihai

Please read this before writing on forum. I modified the forum permission so that unauthenticated users can post without moderation. This change will allow other users to post responses and helpul ideas. Still, I think its a better idea to: Create an account and post as authenticated user. This way you can follow your question.

equation.tex is a temporary file generated by EqualX and so it can not be located in Lyx directory or other places like settings file. Your real problem might be other.

You can set the Editor's font from preferences: Edit->Preferences->Editor. The size of the Symbols from the toolbars can not be currently modified.

Close EqualX and try removing the configuration file equalx.conf. It might be in: rm ~/.config/QiukahnSoft/equalx.conf or in ~/.equalx/

I knew this was a problem only in development mode but this is strange to appear in the production . In case you didn't use the provided package from the website, it might be the problem with your distributor's package. I'm currently working on the next version and I will look into this.
