I haven't been able to open Floorboard on it for months. I download new versions when they come out but no luck. It's been opening this screen and that's all I seem to be able to open. You think I'd have better luck with a new laptop?
I'm not sure why, but redownloading the driver did the trick. I've been using GR55 Floorboard for years and never had to do that. I made a small donation as a thank you for the help and all the work you do on the Floorboard.
Thanks for the help, Collin. Unfortunately I can't figure it out. Under preferences it's showing no midi device available. No midi in or out. I don't think it's recognizing the GR at all for some reason. I've tried a couple different cables. The preferences.xml file is not highlighted so it won't let me delete. I wonder if the USB port could itself be bad. Anyway, let me know if you've got any other suggestions. Thanks!
I'm unable to connect to my GR55. When I hit connect, a message scrolls at the bottom to the effect of Midi input error, no MIDI input sources found. Any suggestions? This is new - was working fine for years.
Same here - not working on my 2016 Macbook
It worked today, no error message. Yes, it shows GR-55 as connected device. We'll see how it goes. Really appreciate you, gumtown!
Just wondering if anyone else has this issue. I've been using my GR 55 with Floorboard for a couple of years, and suddenly the program is not recognizing my pedal. I first noticed this last week. Any ideas?
Yes, I already tried that. I've been working on it for 3 days and can't figure it out. Anything else you can think of? I appreciate the help anyway, I know this is all voluntary on your end. I think I will just have to try it on my old windows laptop.
