Thanks for the suggestion. One possibility that already was present was to start up the app with extra logging. I did not think this exceptional scenario justified adding resize ability to the progress panel. I preferred to use a tooltip instead as this is a typical method for showing the full contents of text...
Thanks for the report. I expect this to be fixed in 3.6.3 but the Anonymous report on 2026-01-25 casts some doubt on that, but without enough details to investigate. Once I am confident the fix works as intended, I plan to also release it on the App Store.
Yes, I plan to release a new version there, but was awaiting if there was more reports on the FDA check not working as expected (https://sourceforge.net/p/grandperspectiv/bugs/123/). I expect it is fixed in 3.6.3, but the last anonymous post suggests not, unfortunately without providing further details.
Thanks for the heads up. That is indeed not legit. I did not follow the link, but I can only imagine it is something dodgy. Hopefully the suspicious-looking URL will mean most people do not fall for it. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it, but I will look into it. Just so it may show up in Google search. Do not follow sponsored links for GrandPerspective, by Tomorrow Lab or anyone else. To be safe, get the downloads from Sourceforge or the App Store.

Thanks for the report. I agree that the start window is not super-intuitive, as the buttons indeed look quite dark when enabled. However, in disabled state, the buttons look even darker, which you can see after "clearing history". I did make some improvements though: The help button is changed to match Apple's UI guidelines. The Scan button disappeared all together. It is not needed. All scans can be activated via double-click. This matches the behavior of XCode. The text "Select Other Folder" has...
