Thank you. That can help. I have addressed the Shield error. That was a file saving error. I was saving data into the wrong fields. If MM penalties are wrong, that can really be only one of two things, I must have the data wrong from the book, or the calculations are also getting mixed up. If I remember right MM penalties are additive. Should be an easy calculation.
Okay. I see it now. This crash is happening because you are clicking on the white space beneath the skills. Unfortunatley you need to be very careful not to click there. Right now the best I can give you is to be careful about where you are clicking during character creation.
as for fear, there is really nothing in the DB that allows for this so my idea here would be to add it as a talent for record keeping purposes.
If you talking about Monsters A Field Guide as a book to add to AutoHARP. I haven't added that book so the information is not available for AutoHARP. As it comes to talents. You are right. when adding a monster and trying to add a talent, it doesn't take. It doesn't take the talent name and add it to the xml file. Excellent! I will remember this fix the next time someone has this similar issue. I'm glad you were able to debug that. I don't think I would have thought of that resolution.
I checked the header for the .exe and it is compiled for x86. I am running it on a x86_64 machine yet I do not have access to a x86 machine so I cannot test it for x86, so I am at a loss as to why it renders the way it does. I am very sorry about that. Maybe try running it in compatability mode? That is if you right click and choose properties and choose the compatability tab you can target the kind of OS you want it to run. Try Windows 8 if it works. If not try 7. This might be a work around. Your...
Ha! That's it! I remember now that was the issue and I totally forgot about that. Yes... program files doesn't like programs updating it's files. I was wondering why it was working on a mac and there it is! Thank you so much. I was hoping i didn't have to run a patch or anything. :D
That doesn't look remotely good at all. Can you uninstall and reinstall? I have ran AutoHARP on Windows 10 and I am not getting that rendering display.
