Hi Dan, I have posted a new version (0.6.0) that features a new, extended concept of Workbook. You can see it demonstrated very briefly in this short video https://youtu.be/qxDWzaT5SOM . The GUI resizes now so it should resolve the issue with smaller screens. Cheers, Robert
Oh, I see... The bottom part of the Chess Forge's main window is cut off on your screen and you can't see the evaluation controls shown in my previous screenshot . Unfortunately, I have not yet made the interface resizable, so it requires the screen of around 900 pixels vertically. Right now, I am working on a major change to the structure of Workbooks (they will be capable of having chapters with "study trees", "model games" and exercises). I am planning to publish it as version 0.6.0 later this...
Sure, you can get the included Stockfish engine to analyze moves. One way is to right click on a move and select "Evaluate Position". Another is to click the evaluation toggle at the bottom of the screen. The evaluation lines will show under the chess board. I have attached a picture where I have circled the above mentioned elements of the interface. Cheers, Robert
Fixed.
