Oops. That was supposed to have been fixed in littleutils-1.2.6, but somehow the change from "python" to "python3" was lost. This fix has been restored to the "control" file in littleutils_1.2.7-2.debian.tar.gz and new .deb package files have been published. This should resolve the issue. Thank you for the bug report.
