Yeah, the only thing I remember about neutrons was when I worked at the nuclear power plant they always had a neutron detector in reactor containment, and it would be occasionally make a beeping sound as it detected free neutrons and during our training, they said if it started beeping very fast you would need exit the containment stuucture. LOL! The LND 7314 is the Pancake GM tube used in the GMC 600+ and the RadEye B20. The window is a thin film of Mica which allows Alpha,Beta and of course ganmma to be detected. Bob

Correct they are SRD's AKA Self Reading electrostatic Dosimeters. The charger resets them to zero they will self discharge and requie a reset before use. These are much higher range than what I was issued at the nuclear power plant that I started my career at back in 1983.,those were 0-500 mR much much lower range. These are just simple devcesto check your dose when you are under nuclear attack hence the higher ranges. The kit comes with two sets a high range and higher range LOL! Just something...

Thanks Ullix. I had to switch to MAC for two reasons one my Desktop machine was very slow with GL and the version of Windows 11 on my MacBookPro and the desktop says the version's are no longer supported. Neither machine has a TPM 2.0 I had to create a custon ISO to install on both machines and at this point I do not know if this method is still an option for installing the newer versions. Thanks, Ullix. I trimmed off the parts by changing the date and time Min/Max in GeigerLog and got the following attached. Is there another way to trim the data? Also see the image with the Buttons POKE fields they appear squashed especially the two in the graph field to the right of the "Clear" button can this be adjusted? Bob
