This feature would still be highly appreciated. RealVNC already supports audio, alas via proprietary protocol extensions. But standard protocol supports audio as well (https://github.com/rfbproto/rfbproto/blob/master/rfbproto.rst#qemu-audio-client-message). Unfortunately, the standard protocol is limited to uncompressed audio. Maybe this would be a great opportunity for a protocol enhancement request?
Thanks for the positive and encouraging feedback. It is good to hear that my software is still being used and of use for someone out there :-) Alas, I cannot maintain the project anymore. Firstly because my company relaxed proxy security settings a bit, so I can do a CONNECT to any port 8443 - which works perfectly to tunnel connections with Putty. Secondly, my family situation changed, so I cannot put as much free time into private development projects as I could before. You are, however, welcome...

This feature request is really old but still very valid. A lot of games are not playable with absolute mouse movements, only relative ones (almost all 3D games). I tested this with RealVNC - RealVNC supports relative mouse movements and there, the games are playable. However, RealVNC uses a proprietary protocol extension for this. TightVNC could be easily extended using the QEMU Pointer Motion Change pseudo-encoding or - even better and more flexible - the General Input Interface extension using...
