Wow, that was quick! Thank you very much, sir! I compiled "texstudio-hg-e650dfeb1b7965133dca62e779f4dd5b0fd6bfa3" and the feature works nicely! (It is actually under the advanced option "Internal PDF Viewer -> Paper Color").
