Ideals Virtual Data Room

Pros: 1. Ideals is a very user friendly data room.
2. 24/7 customer service help desk to resolve any issues.
3. The pricing is very attractive and best in comparison to other VDR available in market.
4. Lot of features are available for user permission by giving desired permission to user to access confidential information for different documents.
5. Great security.

Cons: 1. Few times there has been issue to add the user.
2. Few documents uploaded were not visible.

Overall: I have been using iDeals for more than a year as an admin for various projects. The overall experience has been good. Ideals is easy to use with a lot of features and best pricing.

Pros: I personally rank iDeals at the top when comparing softwares to organize virtual datarooms. Working in a renewables energy company in Brazil, we are always engaged in some due diligence both as the ones auditing or the ones being audited - which gives me insight both as an administrator and a user of the platform. As an administrator, I can say iDeals has one of the best features to make the experience of uploading documents to the DataRoom in a more effective way, allowing it to simply syncing with the target folder in your computer with a friendly user tool. As a user, I can say iDeals has one of the best interfaces for visualizing documents without the need to download then, which is not allowed in some negotiations.

Cons: Being a software well developed with countless features, it is expected that its price would not be low. When compared to other softwares slightly worst than iDeals, usually iDeals, although the better option to go, is usually the more expensive.

Overall: Overall, I must say that my experience with iDeals has been very productive and I definitely recommend the software when compared to its biggest competitors. Of course, features needed shall be compared and iDeals usually higher price must be taken into account. However, my company has usually chosen iDeals every time.

Overall: From start to finish we had no problems uploading or having questions answered. After we closed out and received our thumb drive, right away someone was available to answer a question. Flexible payment options also helped us along the way.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to set up, easy to share. Tracking/Analytic feature is terrific for knowing who visits the portal, what they opened, and how long they stayed on the page/document. Also, the option to give different groups access to specific documents, whether only viewable or downloadable is a great feature.

Cons: There's really not many Cons to the software. It is a bit pricey but worth the value. I don't fully understand the value of Q&A. We don't use this but perhaps others do.

Overall: Overall experience of the software is 'very pleased". It functions as intended and is well developed.

Pros: Fantastic Customer Support over email and call allowing technical issues to be sorted in real time. The User Interface is super cool and attractive. Ease of access and use is a major advantage. Easy and customisable user and folder restrictions allow selection of target audience.

Cons: Nothing really. I have had a very satisfactory experience with iDeals over multiple projects which I have handled. Probably, iDeals can look at incorporating data analytics and informatics for the customers in the VDR to throw up realistic and easy to understand assessments.

Overall: My experience has been great. I have been using iDeals since 4 years now and I have handle multiple projects. I never had an issue in the VDR platform and always had instant access to the customer support. The VDR platform is very simple to understand and easy to use. The features are quite impressive. The restrictions to user group and folder access are helpful. The drag and drop feature is very useful.

Pros: Ease, features & design. It is a comprehensive solution for managing multiple access to protective and confidential data.

Cons: You need to be careful issuing access rights to the right groups/people. Review of assigned rights from time to time needed. No reminder function for access expiry.

Overall: Very good solution which can be recommended to manage deal processes or sharing confidential project data and other information.

Pros: It was very intuitive from the start and we did not need any help to set up our project. We have used some other virtual data rooms before and this was by far the best solution.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of right now! The Q&A section is hard to master, but it is not impossible.

Overall: As said, very user-friendly, we had no issues in working with their data room.
