The Chart Viewer of eMedRec displays a Patient Chart in a format similar to that of a paper chart. Clicking on a Tab on the left edge of the chart will display the contents of that Tab. Contents are sorted with the most recent document on top. They may be resorted by document type, location or any other column including the default Date of Service. Fax numbers associated with individual charts are maintained for quick 2 click faxing to the patient's pharmacy, primary care physician, or insurance company. Chart contents or prescriptions may be faxed instantly, to any fax number associated with the chart, or to a new fax destination.
