Cloudflare R2
Cloudflare R2 is a global object storage service that allows developers to store large amounts of unstructured data without the costly egress bandwidth fees associated with typical cloud storage services. It supports multiple scenarios, including storage for cloud-native applications, web content, podcast episodes, data lakes, and outputs for large batch processes such as machine learning model artifacts or datasets. R2 offers features like location hints to optimize data access, CORS configuration for interacting with objects, public buckets to expose contents directly to the Internet, and bucket-scoped tokens for granular access control. It integrates with Cloudflare Workers, enabling developers to perform authentication, route requests, and deploy edge functions across a network of over 330 data centers. Additionally, R2 supports Apache Iceberg through its data catalog, transforming object storage into a fully functional data warehouse without management overhead.

Google Cloud Storage
Object storage for companies of all sizes. Store any amount of data. Retrieve it as often as you’d like. Configure your data with Object Lifecycle Management (OLM) to automatically transition to lower-cost storage classes when it meets the criteria you specify, such as when it reaches a certain age or when you’ve stored a newer version of the data. Cloud Storage has an ever-growing list of storage bucket locations where you can store your data with multiple automatic redundancy options. Whether you are optimizing for split-second response time, or creating a robust disaster recovery plan, customize where and how you store your data. Storage Transfer Service and Transfer Service for on-premises data offer two highly performant, online pathways to Cloud Storage—both with the scalability and speed you need to simplify the data transfer process. For offline data transfer our Transfer Appliance is a shippable storage server.

Amazon S3 Vectors
Amazon S3 Vectors is the first cloud object store with native support for storing and querying vector embeddings at scale, delivering purpose-built, cost-optimized vector storage for semantic search, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and similarity-search applications. It introduces a new “vector bucket” type in S3, where users can organize vectors into “vector indexes,” store high-dimensional embeddings (representing text, images, audio, or other unstructured data), and run similarity queries via dedicated APIs, all without provisioning infrastructure. Each vector may carry metadata (e.g., tags, timestamps, categories), enabling filtered queries by attributes. S3 Vectors offers massive scale; now generally available, it supports up to 2 billion vectors per index and up to 10,000 vector indexes per bucket, with elastic, durable storage and server-side encryption (SSE-S3 or optionally KMS).

IONOS Cloud Object Storage
IONOS Cloud Object Storage is a scalable storage service designed for storing and accessing large amounts of unstructured data in cloud environments. It is fully compatible with the S3 API standard, allowing developers and IT teams to manage buckets and objects using existing S3 clients and tools while integrating easily into cloud-native applications and infrastructures. It enables organizations to store virtually unlimited volumes of static or backup data without the need to provision or manage traditional storage volumes. It is built for reliability and high availability, using redundant storage across multiple nodes so data remains accessible and protected even if infrastructure failures occur. It is particularly well-suited for storing backups, archives, and disaster recovery snapshots, as well as handling large datasets used in analytics, machine learning, or digital content platforms.
