"Terrible service." Posted 2024-03-22
Pros: Nothing at all. I thought this will solve my problems, but no, it did not work for me. A lot people says it is great and I got lured into it
Cons: I just want my money back and this has been proven difficult. Before I start giving bad reviews, please refund my money.
Overall: All I want is my refund. I am just beginning to get bad now.

"Significant Performance Issues with Avatar Syncing and Customer Misguidance" Posted 2024-02-28
Pros: Great editing and recording options, easy interface, useful for beginners and pros alike, and price is affordable.
Cons: Avatar synchronization - DemoCreator's avatar sync is poor; misleading tutorials don't show real-time use. Feels like a sales tactic, not true functionality.
Overall: I've been using Wondershare DemoCreator with the intention of enhancing my video content through the Virtual Avatar Recording feature. Despite ensuring that my system meets the minimum requirements as outlined by DemoCreator, I've encountered significant issues that have impacted my content creation process adversely.
Firstly, the avatar camera response is frustratingly slow, creating a lag between my movements and the avatar's, which disrupts the flow of my presentations. Moreover, the lip synchronization has been notably poor. Despite numerous attempts at calibration and following all available guidance meticulously, the discrepancies remain, making my content appear unprofessional and disjointed.
An important observation, and a source of considerable disappointment, is that none of the tutorial videos provided by DemoCreator showcase an unedited recording session of the avatar mirroring the speaker's movements in real-time. All the promotional content appears to be heavily edited, which leads me to question the functionality and reliability of the Virtual Avatar Recording feature. This discrepancy between the advertised and actual product performance is misleading and raises concerns over the ethical marketing practices of the company.
While I appreciate the concept and potential of DemoCreator, the current performance issues, combined with the lack of transparent demonstration, have significantly marred my user experience. I expected a tool that would enable me to create dynamic and engaging content; instead, I find myself questioning the integrity of the product's advertised capabilities.
I hope this feedback prompts a thorough investigation and subsequent updates to both the software's performance and the marketing approach. Potential users deserve accurate representations of the product's capabilities to make informed decisions.Reply from Wondershare DemoCreator -

"8 day free trial not free" Posted 2023-06-13
Pros: That it does record the screen and audio.
Cons: 1. Got ripped off. Signed up for free 8 day trial and found they charged me for a full year subscription and signed me up for a second monthly subscription.
2. Software records screen, but also automatically imposes a selfie-box, forcing you to record yourself, while you recording the screen.
3. Recording uses a proprietary format. If you want to share it with others, you have to pay for their converter program or ask others to buy their program..Overall: 1. My wife signed up for the free 8 day trial, only to find that she was instantly charged for a full yearly subscription. In other words, the free trial is a lie.

2. It was sold as a screen recorder, but it overlays a selfie webcam box similar to people who are commenting on online games. It clearly wasn't what she wanted.
3. After making our first screen recording with the unwanted selfie recording, we found the company uses a proprietary format that no one else can watch. The company requires you to spend more money and buy their converter program if you others to be able to view your recording. -

"Simply doesn't work" Posted 2023-04-27
Pros: Easy to use (seems like)
You are supposed to be easily record screen, presentation of a PPT...
But...BUT...Cons: It simply doesn't work. And I am not the only one!
So when you record a presentation, in my case, me with a green screen and a PPT presentation, the sound of the video will be delayed, the video is shorter than the original you record (cut of fez minutes !) and the video will appear very slow at some moment. The videos I record is just unexploitable.
I have been speaking by mail with the team support this a month. They always tell me "we have no solution for the moment" "the support team will back to you"... I asked a refund (of course), I am chocked they even didn't propose me it directly. I had to ask twice. Unbelievable.Overall: Just nothing to add.

I am disappointed.
I feel like I have waist so much time talking to them, and even after a month, still not being able to use the software I paid for... -

"INCOMPLETE, EXPENSIVE" Posted 2022-11-24
Pros: The concept is perfect
It is very important to quickly record screen and then edit this in "channels" right after, or be able to quickly add screen recording or live elements again in same session.Cons: Can't monitor audio while recording, can't properly check audio preferences and what is going on. I can't monitor desktop audio. I could just not finish the work!!
No fades for fade out or in for images or audio.
CPU intensive, slow rendering.
I wish the buttons come to the menu bar, making it easy to record and pause and record again.
Expensive, for all these reasons.Overall: DaVinci Resolve is free and still is better in these topics. But miss the point with screen recording, If DaVinci Resolve does these things, they kill Wondershare.

"Stay Away" Edited 2022-12-16
Pros: Easy to learn.
Lots of tutorial videos.
Clever editing options.
Really wish it was more reliable it has wonderful transition options.Cons: -It's so darn glitchy it keeps crashing
-If your video is 10 minutes it's OK but 45 minutes it will crash several times a day. Seriously!! My desktop is only a few years old, it's not my video card or my computer.
-I have to backup every five minutes due to me not knowing when it will crash
-Several times my most recent work save location would move out of Dropbox, without me being aware of the move. Not kidding
-Due to me not being able to backup to my cloud backup reliably I have had to start uploading to YouTube (private video) as a precaution just in case everything goes to hell.
-It just crashed yesterday and only now I am finding my most recent saves for the last three days are gone. Spent three hours attempting to find them.
-Called their 24 hour customer support and no one is answering.
-I just want to cross the finish line with this 4 month project and then I was intending to switch video editing software, but I don't think this is even possible.
Overall: Stay away!! The whole "move fast and break things," includes you, your spirit and your hard work. I am so disappointed with every update being more and more unreliable. Is quality control that old fashion?Overall: Stay away. The whole "move fast and break things," includes you, your spirit and your hard work. "Forced upgrade from Filmora Screen" Posted 2021-11-29
Pros: Screen drawing feature added.
Cost of product.
Clean crisp recordings.
Easy export options.
Not much else.Cons: Continuous updates that get worse.
Time requirements to export videos keeps increasing.
Lost features.
UI in editing is not intuitive.Overall: After discontinuing support for Filmora Screen, making everyone buy DemoCreator, I figured I’d give it a try. Things went downhill from there. UI keeps getting more “basic” which means it keeps losing ease of use and functions. Export time keeps getting longer and longer with each update. Now, the big seller of screen drawing seems “misplaced” with newest update. I’m done. Time to look into alternatives.
