Pros: Ease of set-up with uploading and organizing items; very straight forward for our team. User Registration was frictionless and we did not receive any complaints or issues with signing up to bid. The platform was able to handle the volume of bids without any technical glitches.

Cons: Platform Fees with the service but we understand that is the industry-standard; but just a consideration for smaller non-profits or if the ease of use justifies the cost for you.

Overall: Considering everything I would use WinningBidder.com again due to the ease of use, as well as, taking the stress out from the technical side of the auction. It allowed us to focus on the silent auction and our mission.

Pros: Really appreciated the east of use, and how straightforward adding and managing items was! Also the bid flyers autocreation was helpful.

Pros: Ease of setting up, ability to add donated items, coordination with Travel Pledge, on-line visibility, ability to start auction prior to the scheduled event.

Cons: Difficulty in talking with staff at WinningBidder, I wish they left a contact phone number.

Overall: Fairly smooth set up, I was able to add donated items in addition to the Travel Pledge trips. Easy to add photos and starting minimum price

Pros: Easy to use. Intuitive even for using it for the first time. Provided the necessary tools to enable us to have a successful auction.

Cons: Transaction fees were a little high for a small 501c3 with a small budget

Pros: Simple set up. Clean format. User-friendly. Excellent features (paying online, printable posters, allowing bidders to pay credit card fees)

Cons: Some people who were bidding liked to see the names of people who they were bidding against; some people did not want to see the names. I enjoyed the fact that it sent me a simple message letting me know that I was outbid.
The printing poster feature was a little off - we had to re-create our own posters - the image was cropped funny on some of the posters.

Overall: The ease of setting up the auction was great. The printing poster feature could be changed a little bit - we had to re-create our own posters to include a QR code so that bidders could bid in person. The online auction platform was very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I enjoyed that I could pay directly through the emailed link (after winning) and it's nice that they offer for the winning bidder to pay the credit card fee. We're a non-profit so having the bidders pay their own fees is ideal! We really enjoyed that you could mark multiple winners for some of the items. Overall, I would say that we enjoyed this platform better than who we used last year (Accelevents) and we will most likely be using this platform for next year's auction!

Pros: WinningBidder was very easy to set up. We could have multiple users so everyone could enter the item details of the items they brought in. We could add more than one picture, allocate sponsors and distinguish who donated the item, along with uploading their logo. Hyperlinks were automatically added to links within the descriptions. The site looked personalized and the url had our company name at the beginning to make it feel more legitimate and personalized for bidders. For the flow of the auction, we loved that we could set categories to help people find items they were interested in. We used the max bid feature, and loved that they bidders were sent text updates about their bids. We used the dashboard to refresh and see our progress, as well as what hadn’t been bid on yet. Reporting was simple and quick which allowed for a quick item pickup flow at the conclusion of the auction. Features we liked but didn’t use included popcorn bidding, switch to live auction, and making the auction available nation wide. Bidders received one invoice for all products won at the end of the auction. Of course, a major pro was that the price for our nonprofit couldn’t be beat. Payout was linked with Stripe, a payment process we already use so that was quick and easy.

Cons: We thought the site looked a little outdated, but we didn’t mind that. It also made our bidders create an account and enter in their information to be able to bid (pro) but then they had to re-enter everything including their card number at the end of the event. We also wished there was a place to mark items as picked up.

Overall: We tried out and tested two different sites after completing a paper auction at our event last year. We decided on winning bidder and it did not disappoint! What drew us to winning bidder is of course that there were no platform fees, but also that it had many features other free products did not. We loved that people could enter an automatic max bid, that we could have categories, and acknowledge sponsors. We also love that bidders were text updates.

Pros: Easy to use platform, loved that I could use more than 1 picture to showcase an item. Fast response when I had a question, very easy to set up and use. LOVED the option to have "popcorn bidding" at the end of the auction to have a bidding war to help make more money.

Cons: I would like to charge people all at the end not send invoice and ask them to pay. I would like to not make it an option for them to pay the credit card fees.

Overall: Already planning on using them again next year for our auction. Also LOVED the items they were able to provide for our auction, we had a great event and raised more money than last year. PLUS no hosting fees so all money goes to you not to the web hosting company.

Pros: It was super helpful, as the admin person setting up our auction, that I could work through things via mobile on my phone in addition to a desktop computer.

Cons: It was just a slight con but questions sent to support via message and email are not addressed over the weekends and you have to wait until Monday for a response. The support was really great though and was always able to answer my questions.

Overall: It was nice that the setup and auction was so seamless. It’s so great that there are auction items available to select or request plus you can input additional donated items you’re gotten separately.

Pros: First off, it was the only site out there for charity fundraisers that's completely free no matter what features you use. Even the credit card processing fees have the option to be paid by the people who win the bids, which 100% of our winners elected to do. For the price, an outstanding value that was still easy to use and had plenty of features. Part of the way they make their income is to have optional additional items that you can add to your auction IF DESIRED and your non-profit gets either 40% or 80% of the winning bids. I appreciated that option and also the variety of choices available to add -- vacations but also online experiences, etc.

Cons: If I were designing the program myself, I would change a few things in the set up to make it more convenient to use or to be able to quickly access the information that I wanted. Some of the reporting features -- while good -- were not intuitive to me which option to pick to get what I was looking for. But genuinely only minor surface complaints or inconveniences that could be tweaked.

Overall: My experience was great. It was my organization's first time in conducting an online fundraiser/silent auction, and we were able to do it smoothly and successfully. I'll definitely be using them again in the future, and will recommend to others.

WinningBidder.com allowed for me to gain more funding for our mission because we were able to reach a more vast audience because of being online.

Cons: One thing that we found was that some people didn’t like feeling as though that had to enter their email right away to even look at the bid site.

Overall: The ease of use and the customer service really were the best parts of the platform. It was easy to upload donated product as well as having the auto bid function that allowed for bidding to increase slowly.
